Building & Pest Standalone - Inspection Report
Building Inspection Conducted in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4349.1. Focuses on readily accessible areas of the property through visual inspection only. Includes: Exterior and internal rooms Roof void and roof surface (up to 3.6m height) Doors, windows, taps, toilets (checked for leaks) Reports on: Structural soundness Significant defects Maintenance issues and recommendations Excludes: Electrical systems Concealed plumbing Council approvals Structural design adequacy 2. Pest Inspection Conducted in accordance with AS 4349.3. Focuses on detecting termite activity, wood borers, and fungal decay. Tools used: Moisture meters to detect high moisture levels (a termite attractant) Acoustic tappers to identify hollow or damaged timber Covers: Roof voids Skirting boards Window frames Eaves and other timber elements Reports on: Past or present termite damage Conditions conducive to future infestations
