Since 1 August 2025, the Property Law Act 2023 requires sellers to provide a Seller Disclosure Statement (Form 2) before the contract is signed.
What's required
Sellers must provide buyers a Seller Disclosure Statement (Form 2) before the contract is signed. It must include detailed property disclosures such as title, easements, zoning, and building approvals. To complete it accurately, the vendor answers a set of questions about the property, and the statement is then prepared and signed off by a licensed conveyancer.

What's required
