Legal Framework
The Property Law Act 2023 mandates a Seller Disclosure Statement (Form 2) be provided, commenced from 1 Aug 2025 before contract signing.
Requirement
Form 2 must include detailed property disclosures such as title, easements, zoning, and building approvals. To complete it accurately, the vendor answers a set of questions about the property, and the statement is then prepared and signed off by a licensed conveyancer - accurate, compliant, and ready for the buyer.
